With Hallowe'en almost upon us, we thought we would take you through a list of 6 players guaranteed to give their opponents NIGHTMARES. From frightening footwork to a terrifying turn of pace, these players are the best in the world at what they do.

Petrifying Pace - Killian Mbappé

Petrifying Pace - Killian Mbappé

The World Cup-winning Wonderkid sends chills down defenders' spines when he runs, making it nearly impossible to mark or tackle him. Clocking in at an incredible 38 km/h (23.6mph), the 22-year-old Parisian has given many defenders twisted blood.

Frightening Feet - Neymar

Frightening Feet - Neymar

He's Mbappé's teammate and another one who drives fear into the heart of oncoming defenders, not least of all because it's so difficult to keep track of his feet! The Brazilian magician does things with the ball that don't look possible. Even when defenders keep their eye on the ball and Neymar's feet at the same time, the face-off usually ends with the attacker doing a disappearing act with the ball!

Scary Strength - Adama Traoré

Scary Strength - Adama Traoré

Of course Adam Traoré is on this list - he looks more like a werewolf than a footballer! The most frightening thing about the Spaniard's mutant muscles is that he claims to not lift weights. He said: "It's hard to believe, but I don't do weights. It's genetic. I exercise, but I gain mass very quickly." Imagine if he did!

Terrifying Toughness - Giorgio Chiellini

Terrifying Toughness - Giorgio Chiellini

They don't come much tougher than Giorgio Chiellini. The veteran Centre Back has become a legend at Juventus over the years for his uncompromising style of defending. He usually has strikers trembling in the tunnel before the match has even started, such is his reputation for being an old school hard man.

Alarming Ambidexterity - Mason Greenwood

Though Manchester United's hotshot starlet claims to be slightly stronger with his right foot, it really isn't possible to tell that from watching him play. Young Mason is equally deadly with either foot, which makes him a nightmare for defenders to defend against - will he go left, or will he go right? It's very rare for a player to be so two-footed, and it's sometimes spooky to see!

The Puppetmaster - Kevin De Bruyne

The Puppetmaster Kevin De Bruyne

Manchester City's Belgian maestro pulls the strings from the middle of the park, playing short and long passes that no one else can even see, cutting through opposition defences in an instant. How does he do it? Did he do a deal with the devil or is he from another planet entirely? Either way it's scary to defend against.

We think this is a pretty scary list for anyone to come up against, imagine them all on the same team!
